I have version 2.2.2 and I have tried everything including clearing cache and everytime I send out newsletters, I get the following errors:

Could not instantiate mail function.

Message could not be sent.
Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

Any ideas what is causing this? Everything worked until this upgrade.

Thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear that you experience this problem.
The following error:
Error: Could not instantiate mail function.
means that there are some problems with the default PHP “mail” function on your server. In oder to resolve the problem, you need to contact your server administrator.
If it turns out that there are no problems with work of this function on the server, the problem will require investigation on your server. Please contact us via Customer Help Desk and provide temporary access to your server.
