Newest products gone after upgrade

Hi,



I have upgraded my shop from 2.0.4 to 2.0.6 and everything went alright except that my Newest products box is now gone.



I did the same upgrade on my localhost (with the same temple files) and there the box does show up after the upgrade.



I have tried:

  • disabling/enabling the block
  • removing and placing a new one
  • globally removing from all categories and re-addding
  • removing / re-adding from single categories



    Nothing seems to help…



    The block settings are:

    Content: Products

    Filling: newest

    Appearance: blocks/products_multicolumns.tpl

    Wrapper: blocks/wrappers/mainbox_simple.tpl



    Any idea what else I could check?

    You mean to 205 then to 206.



    Where are you trying to add it? Home page or any other page?

Yes, it was a 2.0.4 to 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 upgrade. I’m trying to add the block on the categories page.

Thanks everybody! The problem is solved.



When I logged in to the admin panel again, it was still showing me the message box about available upgrades and I had the chance to upgrade from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 once again which solved my problem.
