Im having severe problems since updating to 2.0.14.
I now find one of my globals that had 100 variants cannot be altered in any way. ajax notification “loading…your request is being processed” stays up till it fails.
I’ve read in the bug tracker and feature list that “New tweak variable ‘disable_ajax_preload’ added” may help but where do i find this setting?

Assume you would add a line to the $config[‘tweaks’] array declaration in config.local.php.
At least they didn’t try to do this as part of the upgrade!
