I was wondering what is the best way to go about creating a new add to cart button just to be used on the product detail pages? I want to make the button larger but if I change it using the css it will change all the submit buttons and I dont want that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey bioformx - did you figure this out?
I was wondering the same thing. I was trying to make my checkout button larger in the View Cart screen, but when I did, I overwhelmed my products with a huge Add to Cart button as well!
I’ll poke around in the css and templates and see if we can set up different classes for those buttons. I’m not sure how easy all that is to get to right now.

Yep, that’s my next project too!
I need to make our Checkout button larger & more prominent than the Paypal Express button as we are getting ALOT of customers that accidently hit the checkout by Paypal button by mistake! It actually creates about 90% of our failed, and then duplicated orders as a customer backs out once they realize they hit the wrong button! It is all of the little details like this that add up in making a big difference in the end…
Struck - I posted a solution for the checkout button at

Unfortunately, it looks like modifying the css for the add to cart button is completely different, bioformx.
Here is the solution to change the add to cart button to an image:
