I need some guidance on how to set up my new products for photo printing.
Here is what I'm trying to do…
customers browse a list of products (which are the photos)
When they click, they can choose several options which include different print sizes with different prices.
The starting price for each photo item is $0. the cost is added by the options selected.
Issue, I can't seem to enforce product discounts and alternate shipping weights when using option pricing.
Tried many different things including product configurator, but can't seem to get what I want working.
Since product configurator has not been added in v4.x, I need to accomplish this using options.
I want to avoid duplicate product items for each print size option to support quantity discounts.
Summary:
Created new category called photos
Added 10 product items
added global options (photo size & prices w/ dropdown <4x6, 5x7, etc…>)
if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
