It has been a while since I used the News & EMails add on.
I installed it and it is active. I am using the “Subscribe” block which is using the “News Letter Subscription Form” template.
When I enter an email address into the box on store front, I get a message that says Congratulations , accepted, blah blah blah…
But when I go to the Subscribers list, I do not see any subscribers.
What am I doing wrong?
Update: I had to create a mailing list to subscribe to. I see if selected to show in profiles & checkout, you get to select which list. But you can not do this if used in a block, automatically selects all lists by default.
It seems that the choice for text or HTML has been eliminated also, NICE.

Plain text is not supported since 4.0.1 I think nobody chooses it for ages

[/quote]I seem to remember having to make file changes to make html default or first to choose, because you are right nobody consciously chooses text.
