My sites nearly finished - would love your feedback!

So, this site has taken 7 months of backwards and forwards. I initially hired a dodgy designer from scriptlance only to find that they pretty much made a mess of my site - not just design wise, but also created some pretty bad coding issues.

Anyway, I ended up hiring Webgraphiq to go through and finish the site off and fix up any bugs that were causing major dramas. I couldn’t fix up everything, but at least the site is functional. I have to honestly say that Thomas was sensational - he finished the design and coding really quickly and was very helpful in working out any major issues and fixing them too.

I’m still in the process of configuring it, and uploading products, but I thought I might see what experienced CS-Cart store owners have to say about it and am looking for any advice before the site officially goes live.

btw the url is a mess (that’s my fault), but will be fixed up when it goes live

Vey nice, I’m planning to use Webgraphiq for my website too.

All of my mods are from Webgraphiq and I’ve been very happy with the service. I’ll definitely keep using Thomas for any tweaks I need done, he’s so easy to work with.

v2.0.8 is a little out dated and you’re missing a lot of bug fixes.

Might wanna consider upgrading to the latest version given you’re not live yet.

Site looks good.

I know the url says 2.0.8, but the store was upgraded to 2.0.12, that was the last upgrade before the skin went on. You’re right, it is a little outdated.

There are a number of bug fixes I’m interested in, but the store is so customised now I think it might cost quite a bit to do the upgrade.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to just update selected files that contain those bugs - I thought I might ask CS-Cart about this?

The site looks nice, but its loading very slow. Im on a fast connection.

Is this due to heavy images or is the server responding slow?

There are some really heavy images in there, but the site was moved to an Australian server recently.

I have heard that it runs slow in the US, but it’s loading in around 2s in Australia - the majority of my customers are in AU, so I had to make a difficult decision unfortunately.

It was hosted in the US, but load times here (in AU) were around 24s even after significant optimisation.

It’s a shame though that’s it’s running so slowly in other regions.

Beautiful - clean cut and just all together brilliant site.

I’m looking for someone to design a custom template for our exclusive Lego store - Thomas says they are too busy at the moment - does anyone no of anyone else who is cost effective and does a good job?
