after upgrading to 2.1.2 from 2.1.1 besides nuking our site due to the permission issue (fixed) the upgrade also introduced multiple javascript errors. We had no javascript errors in 2.1.1 and we made no javascript modifications at all.
One of these errors knocked out our “Localization” function which is serious. I am not sure what else is now broken since IE reports .js errors in about 4 scripts, including core.js. I am on my Ubuntu machine that of course does not run IE so I will add more details later.
I submitted the support ticket with CS Cart, but I think they are swamped by everyone screaming for help after the 2.1.2 “patch” so they have not fixed the javascript problems yet.
If someone has some generic advice to give about correcting 2.1.2 javascript errors I’d love to hear them.
