Well, possibly most user/ store owners do start straigh with Eng, so... that' s enought.
I was planning to start with 6, maybe 7 (Italian), but there are big SEO problems even with 2, so I will probably drop all SEF urls and disable the standard SEO addon.
As for the separate domains or subdomains for vendors and languages, as long as all system files are on the licensed domain, there should be no problems - I can put each product on separate subdomain with proper root access. And you can buy a vendor on subdomain addon for $49 only from the official CS-Cart marketplace

1. Vendors names get language suffixes - vendor-en, vendor-es, vendor-it, etc
2. Brands also change their SEO name in a multilingual milieu.
This is not true. Language will only appear in the URL if the Show language in the URL option is enabled and even in this case, URLs will not have any suffixes.
Suffixes may be added if the SEO name you entered already exist in the store. This helps to avoid duplicates.
3. Rewrite rules are still for single store and do not take into account the multiple vendor stores
I am not quite sure what this means, especially since you are using MVE edition, not the Ultimate with several storefronts.
4. You should be GOD and never commit error, or you must be devil to fix the errors and edits in all SEO names.
SEO names can be easily edited via admin panel or updated via CSV import
5. Site is faster with no rewrite
This is a very controversial statement. What is the speed boost you got on your server?

1. We have discussed this elsewhere - a Vendor whose name has precedent in some deep subcategories, cannot register his/her own root name. Instead a vendor-en or -en2 is registered. This is bad for the brand - and I don't want lawsuits because of one changed letter.
2. MVE means that there are many stores - each vendor has their own store and pertaining pages, blog, certificates, etc But there are no vendors in the SEO settings.
3. There is only a free third-party add-on that can somehow facilitate the process - it must be integrated as a standard editing tool. There is no export and import of categories.
4. Subjectively - two times faster without SEO. Keep in mind that there are 8 cores, 32 GB RAM and 800 GB SSD for this project and it is still not open.
Seems like you should be using seo "rules" to add vendor names to the URL's rather than to have vendor's use their name as the SEO name for a product or category.

Yes, I am talking only of pages, blogs, etc. vendor-related publications. They should have this url

Hi,
I don't know why the topic seem to be been hijacked to this but
Question was :
How can I enanche/ add more languages to an existing store without 'messing up' all the present/actual URLs.
Do you have any tip on this?
It would be really apreciated as I have to add two languages to store, for SEO reason I'd have to implement / activate the Show language in the URL
But this will change/rewrite, mess up all the actual URLS, not a big deal, as you can agree I guess
By third level you mean replicating on subdomains?
Use the addon of Webkul - Vendor Subdomain
If you want to include the language in the URL, this will change the SEO names. If you want every language on a separate subdomain, I think, modification of the above module will be required.

Thanks Imago
My 'problem' is different
I have a running site/store, in ONE language, Now opening to Two different languages
To keep SAME URL for ALL languages does Not seem a SEO wise option imho.
As I shall try escalating on Google.com and Google De
Real Problem Is (still One / Single Store here no MV) that adding Show language in the URL URLS will be Changed in all Actual store and everything will be basically lost.
I'm tring to overcome thi matter with the help of a 'modder' here in CS cart community.
But still I feel that it shall be a Core funcrion , not that I have to trick n mess with core files as custom work to hopefully fo not loose all the seo achievement so far.

/vendor-name/pages/page-name/ or .html
I'm not aware of any standard SEO rule that provides for a vendor name to be included in a URL. An extension would be required. And the the question come up as to how to handle a product that is offered by two vendors.

On the contrary. It is not wise to use parameters in the URL. You can put /en and /de as part of the URL ONLY if you are going to provide different content on the /en and /de parts of your domain. If the content is one and the same, but the URLs are different, your domain will be penalized by the SE. So use one URL for all languages if the content is not very much different.
Another modern trend is to move content back from the third level to the subfolders as this will (or would) increase the ranking of your pages. So think twice - will you really benefit from puttung the languages on subdomains.

Ah, this was my biggest problem. I am targeting vendors that will eventually sell one and the same product. Now this problem is solved by two SEO addons - of simtech and ecomlabs. They both include product_id in the SEO Name of the product template.
If this is possible, then company_name can also be added in front of /pages and /blog
