Hello everyone. So I took the dive and purchased cs cart and I really like the functions but this is my first time getting into php and smarty templates. I some what got a hang of changing the templates to show what I like but I seem to be stuck on something that should be simple. I cant seem to move the title of the product from the main box general template to another template I have. I dont want the template to float above the content but in a small area within the content. I have tried to move it but nothing happens. what would be the proper way to move this? Thanks for any help.
Well after days of playing I finally figured I cant do what I wanted to do. so I had to change the page and remove the title and just add {$products.prduct} where I wanted the name of the product to show. I just purchased the cs-cart and I can tell you that I like the functionality over the previous systems (asp) I used in the pass. On another note before registering with my current paid id I posted pre sales questions and requested help with the trial and out of 15 post I got zero responses. In my honest opinion I can tell you that these is the least helpful of the forums I have been to and I can only help it gets better cause having a family of users to help one another is very important. My last asp system wasnt so great on the code but the users were awesome and I wish it will be the same here.
Well, I’m glad that you were able to figure out moving the title. Did you figure out your presales question?
Most everyone on the forum are very helpful and I do my best to try and help out as much as I can just like everyone else. I will admit though that I don’t look at the presales questions all that much.
I am sure that you will find this forum to be pretty active with a lot of good advice.
Just keep posting and I’m sure you’ll get plenty of good responses.

Sorry you didn’t get the help you wanted. Mostly you will though.
Everyone is quite busy themselves sometimes and can’t answer 24/7.
Keep with it and you find that the forum is very useful!!!
