moved /cscart folder to root of public_html but no graphics just text + broken links

I followed the instructions here to move the cart folder from /cscart to the root of public_html CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation

i moved to root it will take a long time to load. When it loads it doesn’t have graphics it’s all text and links to pages are broken it doesn’t show the domain name. my seo addon is enabled.

See pictures below and the link address is shown when mouse is hovered on the contact us link.

when i right click on the picture with the red X the link shows:

http://skins/electro/customer/images/icons/empty_cart_icon.gif

i tried renaming folder to cscart2 and editing the .htaccess as well as the config.local.php and that works but just root doesn’t work.

my config.local.php when moved to root are as follows:

$config[‘http_host’] = ‘www.domain.com’;

$config[‘http_path’] = ‘/’;

// Host and directory where software is installed on secure server

$config[‘https_host’] = ‘www.domain.com’;

$config[‘https_path’] = ‘/’;

.htaccess:

RewriteBase /

any help appreciated thank you.

$config['http_host'] = 'www.domain.com';
$config['http_path'] = '';

// Host and directory where software is installed on secure server
$config['https_host'] = 'www.domain.com';
$config['https_path'] = '';

Thank you very much for the reply. That works! :mrgreen:
$config['http_host'] = 'www.domain.com';
$config['http_path'] = '';

// Host and directory where software is installed on secure server
$config['https_host'] = 'www.domain.com';
$config['https_path'] = '';

Yeah I about panicked over this one… I made a separate folder called test and did a new installation. imported my database over to test store… When all was working well I deleted all the files in my live store folder (Accept the images folder) and moved my new installation over and ran into this problem as stated above…

Whew I panicked, what could be the problem??? Then I read this and Boom, newly installed store… Works much better than the the one I was running with multiple upgrades…

Solved a multitudes of problems and cleaned up allot of space that had obsolete files…

It was so easy… Thx for this little tid bit of info, it restarted my heart!! lol :wink:
