I have to post this here as I can’t seem to post in the appropriate section because i don’t have a full license, which seems a great way to put off potential customers but there you go.
So, I need a modification.
An extra field in the product database for a weight.
I then need to be able to click a link in the admin, next to an order which will bring up an A4 template. On this template will be a load of information pertaining to the transport of hazardous goods. Inserted into this will be the delivery name, address and telephone number, and also the combined weight of all the items in the shopping cart (made up from the new field)
Can anyone help?

Are enough hooks now in place (2.0.12) that a mod such as described above can now be accomplished without breaking upon upgrade?

Can you give me the layout of your A4 template and the fields that will be filled with the customer data and weight, this way I know what I’m working with, Thanks - Sno
