Currently as I see it when you click on Manufacturers it sorts the products by alphabet. Is there a way when you click on a manufacture it does not default by alphabetical order. I would like it to default by price lowest first.
The reason for this is it is listing high end highest price first and this is could be a price shock.
Is there a way I can change to default when someone clicks on the manufacturer it price it by lowest first?
Or is there a way that you can change the sort by: to default instead of sort by: name . Currently it is sorting by name.

Try admin/settings/appearance
drop down box in there for default sort order, select "price "
