manufacturers ... again!

I have read several posts asking how to get the manufacturers drop down box on the front page as it was in 1.3.4.

From what I can see you have to create a new block, am I correct?



If so can someone explain (in easy steps), how I do this and get the dropdown box on the front page please.

create a new block:

list objects : product filters

filling : filters

under specific settings choose the product option to display

I have created the new block, which is active.

it shows on the front page as one of the items in the list, not a dropdown box?



I have previously created a product feature for manufacturers.



Have played around with some of the settings but cannot make it appear as I want

Sno we need a dropdown box

In the past, I was able to get the manufacturer icons with link horizantally at the buttom .

Now I am only able to display the manufacturers vertically and no icons.

Any solution?

We’re in the mist of one of the worst economies in the history of the world, currently I need to focus what little time I have on my own business, I do not have time to spend coding modifications for free at my own expense for someone elses profit, however snorocket’s services are for hire…

To be honest I cannot think why cs have taken away functionality of what appears to be a much used setting.



I still have no luck in trying to set this up, anyone…?
