Hey everyone,
I am having an issue where when a customer types a manufacturer’s name in the search box, no products for that manufacturer pops up.
For some reason, the site search is not picking up the manufacturer’s name, even though I have the manufacturer name listed on the product detail page under “features” as well as in product filters.
I would prefer to not have to rename every product with the manufacturer’s name just so those products will show up in a search.
Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it?

I havd never this problem. But your solution is very easy. Write the manufacturers name for each product what should found through the search box in the Search words field in admin.
Log in >> products >> click to one product >> scroll below to SEO / Meta data >> fill out in search words
