I am running CS-Cart 4.2.4 dd3bdcca184e3f39855a0b1d2013fb25dd6dd2c8. I am trying to keep upgrading but I hit a snag involving file permissions with var/upgrade/upgrade_4.2.4_ultimate-4.3.1_ultimate.tgz/restore.php. Nothing is working, so I wrote helpdesk for assistance.
In the meantime, I noticed this morning that shipping to the UK does not work. The cart says no shipping methods to this location are available or something like that. So I went into locations and I have a location called UK set for United Kingdom (Great Britain) and a dollar amount is assigned to it. Yet, if somebody tries a ship a product to THAT country they get THAT error message.
Why is this?
I don't get the same error when shipping to other countries that use other locales like Canada, Australia, United States, etc.
Why would only UK be down?
My question is, would upgrading the cart fix this problem or does it relate to something else? It was working fine as of last night, so I wasn't sure if the cart connects to outside resources for manual rates and those resources are down? Is anybody else experiencing a similar problem.
