issues of using live help

Hi,



I’ve noticed cs-cart has this live chat/help feature. However, I’m wondering if people don’t find it annoying that you start talking to them when you see they are browsing the shop? I always click live help windows away when I visit a site.

I used it this way for a few days and found that pretty much 99% of the time when you initiate chat the customer leaves ASAP. If you want a possible sale it’s much better to let the customer initiate the chat session - Sno

ok. if that’s true, what’s the best way to get a chance to talk to customers?

I hate them , they are like obnoxious sales assistants hassling me, Soon as I get one on to me I run sharpish.
