I have a quick link called "Vendors" which is pointing to ?dispatch=companies.catalog but when you click Vendors it redirect me to the homepage. Does anyone encounter the same issue? This problem started when I have created a temporary homepage which I eventually remove it. I'm not really sure how does the companies catalog being affected while creating a new temporary homepage. It doesn't make any sense to me.
Any help is much appreciated.

Did you try to open direct site.com/?dispatch=companies.catalog link? Does it also redirect to homepage? Or the issue is only with the menu link?
Also how did you create homepage? Do you mean new layout for homepage?

I did try to open direct and the same result it's redirecting to homepage. I did create a homepage by simply adding new layout page but i have already deleted it.
Try to use companies.catalog is URL value for the menu item

Here's the complete URL shown in the address bar https://mywebsite/index.php?dispatch=companies.catalog but showing the homepage instead of the Vendors list. I did try also to type https://mywebsite/?dispatch=companies.catalog directly in the address bar but still getting the same result.

Something wrong with your website. For example, any search shows home page instead of search results page. Please make sure that the Homepage layout page is not marked as Default

Hi eComLabs you are right the homepage is marked as default instead of the Default page layout. After I removed the homepage as default the list of vendors now appears correctly.
