Hi, say I have a category selected and on that category page I have a filter. Is it possible to make 1 filter that works with whatever category is currently selected, or do I have to make a crap ton of product filters for each category I want that filter applied to?

In this case you need to create your filter using the instructions provided in this article of our Knowledge Base: [url]CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation and not select any categories for this filter. After that you will see this filter on all category pages.
