I need to add 3 separate layout dispatches to a single menu item ( to achieve effect of highlighting menu item when these pages are visited ).

My question: Is there a way to add more then one dispatches to a menu item to achieve this?

Create 3 blocks and then add them to the pages you want via the layout manager.

You can't concatenate dispatch requests.

No, only on dispatch is supported.
