Ip Based Storefronts

We currently use CSCart from Australia to sell worldwide and because of high postage costs and currency value we are organising a pick and pack warehouse in the US to keep stock and process orders within the US, this will mean cheaper pricing and postage for US residents which will mean many more sales for us. then we also want to do this in Europe

The next step is how to implement this? can we divert traffic from US based IPs to a different Cscart Storefront? Can we prevent Australian IP addresses viewing the US store?

Can the storefront have different prices to the main storefront?

Can the storefront have different inventory levels

sorry i did try and find this information but couldnt

Thanks in advance

We hope that Access restriction add-on CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation will be useful for you.

Also please check the Editing store page (Regions tab). You could redirect visitors of the storefront to the other storefront with the help of this tab.

You have an ability to set different prices for one product in different storefronts.

But there is no ability to have different product codes in the standard CS-Cart.

Dear Samanthar,

You are welcome.

Best regards, Alt-team.

Have you tried using localizations and/or suppliers? Not sure you can control the landing pages out of the box, but it shouldn't be too difficult if your have multiple storefronts with different subdomains. I.e. store, us.store, eu.store. I think you could have the products assigned to different suppliers in us and eu versus your main store. Haven't ever tried it, but it seems like it should be fairly reasonable, especially if you're going tot rack inventory by store…
