I want to purchase CS-CART license for a new website, but since this website is live for the moment i will start building the site in e subdirectory, i want to know if i can use the license in the subdirectory ??and then in another moment maybe i have to backup my files form the subdirectory and restore them in the main domain which means that i have to install again cs-cart, is this possible??
Yes, just make sure your sub directory /dev or whatever is blocked in your robots.txt and close the store when not updating it

Yes, it is allowed by CS-Cart license policy. But only one store can be public

It means that when i start insatlling cs-cart in the root directory, first i have to close the store in subdirectory, make the transfer from subdirectory to root directory and then re-open the store?? is this correct?

Right. But please note that if CS-Cart store-front is closed, it still can be accessed through the special URL.

Yes this is how i will work in the subdirectory through the special URL and the store will go online only when i do the transfer from the subdirectory (it will be only a development URL) to the root directory. Using the same Cs-Cart license is not a problem then??
