Importing the products makes the website hardly loading

Hello,

Is it normally that while running the import to make the website hardly loading ? I just starting to import 1500 products from one vendor and the website its loading like its running on the slowest server while I have cloud instance with 4vCPU 8GBM RAM and SSD drives. How to fix this issue because Iā€™m planning to enable import cronjob every 30 minutes for each vendor :frowning:

Could be a myriad of things. You need to check where you are lacking in resources
ram/cpu/disk io?

Or if you are just googling it and installed stuff using defaults, most likely mysql is not set up properly.
