I’m working on a transition from an old cs-cart to 2.1.4, and I’ve just imported the products, orders, and order items (in that sequence). Most everything seems to have imported correctly. However, the product id’s don’t match, and therefore, none of the order history is correct. Is there any way to import products and preserve the product id’s. am i missing something? this seems like a no-brainer.
wow, not a single comment from anyone? not even CSC support? Is there really not a way to do this without manually importing the DB? All i want to do is import products and preserve the product id’s. so stuff works like it should.
