Can we import the database from the latest cs-cart. CS-Cart v.1.3.5 SP4 to cs-cart 2?is it easy as importing the database? How about templates we changed and modified already?
Not directly from one database to the other. I have been exporting from 135 and importing to 20beta via the software but there are some changes that have to be made for it to work properly and I still don’t have it all switched.
this is only a BETA version meant for testing purposes, when 2.0 comes out of BETA I’m sure there will be an upgrade script…
The upgrade from 1.3.5 to 2.0 will be Database only, you will have to redo your templates due to the nature of the core changes to the template structure.
The upgrade process has not been completed yet by CS.
