Even Microsoft itself would like to kill it. Now it’s official:

Remember the attacks against Google from China were based on IE6, so this is not good for Microsoft reputation…
Indeed, Microsoft said that attackers targeting Google and other U.S. companies used software that exploits a hole in Internet Explorer.
