Noticed the default 4.2.1 .htaccess contains expiration for .css and .js for 1 year. I understand this is good for performance but isn't it to long? Say a user visits my site today and my site happens to have a JS problem. If that user doesn't clear there browser cache they will have the same JS problem every time they come back to my site for an entire year?
Also what happens if I add or change my JS? Will users see the “old” JS for a entire year (until they clear browser cache?)
I was thinking about change it to 1 day… what do you think?
See other post related to the caching expirtation. It's a maximum value.
