how to manage product order - pozition number does not afect it

Why position number does not affect products order in one category?, but it is not happening - the products have their own place in the list - How can I manage this?

You could try going to:

administration - appearence - customer settings and change the option Product list default sorting to default.

I think when this is default then the products are ordered by their position, but you can also change this to sort the products by price and name as well.
