How To Make Menu Tab Highlight When Page's Viewed

I have pages which I need a menu item to light up when they are accessed. For clarification, when I say "highlighted" I mean menu tab lighting up like this (http://imgur.com/XUHo8FZ)

How can I go about this?

Many thanks!

Add the following to the "Activate menu item for dispatch" setting of the menu item:

pages.view?page_id=123

where 123 - is the ID of the required CMS page

Worked like a charm <3

I have the code ' pages.view?page_id=88 ' and while it worked for lighting up the group of pages I needed, it also lights up menu on pages i'd rather it not. The code " pages.view?page_id=88 " is targeting all 'pages', instead of the specified page id. Any idea why this is happening?

Try to set up SEO page URL here. May be it will solve the issue

Thanks for assistance. I tried SEO page url, unfortunately didn't work.

To elaborate on what the issue is;

I want menu item to light up for a page and all it's subpages. For example, all pages which look like nootropicplace.com/nootropic-info/xxx I would like to activate menu item. Everything I've tried has just targeted all pages.

I've scoured the forum, can't find much in regards to this. :?

If anyone knows a solution, and could let me know, on targeting just this specific page and it's subpages, I would be forever grateful.

xoxo

Another possible solution: try to generate menu item and submenu using the default Generate submenu feature

It works on my local installation

That did it! I wasn't aware that's what the Generate submenu feature did,

Thanks so much my friend!

You are welcome!
