How to make Category use a particular Sorting

The Category page has a sort-by drop-down control. Although the first one in the list is “Default”, the initial selection, and thus the ordering of the listed products, is “Name”.



I’d like control over this. Sometimes I’d like to use Name, sometimes Price, sometimes Default.



If I can’t get this by Category (I haven’t seen this anywhere in the edit pages), then can I get this for the site?

In your CS-Cart admin panel, go to “Design”->“Appearance settings”->“Customer settings”->“Product list default sorting”. But it will be the same for the whole site.
