I am writing to provide feedback regarding the current design of the GDPR Compliance plugin’s cookie banner.
While the plugin ensures functional compliance, the current banner is too small and easily overlooked in the corner of the screen. In the modern web environment, a large, centered, or full-width banner has become the industry standard. This is not just a design preference; it is a matter of respecting user rights.
A prominent banner clearly informs visitors that we value their privacy and data security. Conversely, a tiny banner can inadvertently give the impression that the website is trying to hide something or evade transparency.
Since CS-Cart provides a dedicated GDPR plugin, I suggest updating the layout to a “Cookie Wall” or a larger modal style that requires explicit interaction before browsing. This would significantly enhance the professional image and trustworthiness of our store, especially for B2B medical platforms where compliance is critical.
