How To Filter Other->Text Feature

Hello experts,

I have a bookstore, we made authors as other->text type feature. I have version 4.3.3 installed. We can not provide a way to filter/search based on this feature. Product filters does not work with other->text type. Advanced Search is removed in 4.3.X. How could I do this? I really do not understand why cs-cart does not provide such a feature. In admin panel we can do this by Search by product features but in website there is no way.

It's better to use Selectbox/Extended/Brand type feature so you can create a filter for it.

Filter by text field is necessary!

In Excel we do filter by text field all time!
