My new client wants to sell and wants to blog. It seems good to run CS-Cart and the blog system, perhaps wordpress, side-by-side. From the blog, the author can reference highlighted products by directly linking into the product page (a Drupal ‘friendly path name’ option will help greatly here).
A harder problem for me is the desire to show within CS-Cart certain blog content. For example, a page with running shoes might display a block with a blog article about running experiences. The blog article is part of the blog system, but would be foreign content to CS-Cart.
So I think I’m looking for a way for a block to fill itself with content from an arbitrary URL. Can this be done without my becoming a custom coder?
