How To Create A Pop-Up Promotion, After Item Added In Cart?

Hi guys,



I would like to create some type of pop-up that promotes a “buy any two, get this free” promotion. I already figured out how to automatically add the free item to the cart via the promotions, but now I'd like some type of pop-up to be triggered when one item is added to the cart. This would remind our customers of this deal, otherwise they may never learn of it.

I am afraid, their popup window cannot be shown on the “add to cart” event. Additional code modifications are requried here.
