How To Change Text, Layout, Back Ground Colours Etc In Cs Cart

Is there a good source of information that i can use to learn the structure of Cs Cart to be able to change simple things like back ground colours, button text and simple page layout.

I've moved from X Cart which had an excellent forum with sticky subjects to help in things like this but i can't find any info on this forum outlining the basic procedure of code change.



Any help appreciated.

I want to slow down the speed that a banner moves across the page when the banner is set on carousel, how do i do this? I can alter the time a banner is displayed in seconds but can't see how to adjust the slide time.
