I sell clothing, and track inventory based on options.
I have nice clear messages shown to shoppers when a size/color combo is IN or OUT of stock…
The problem, is that if the default selected combo (the first color and size in the lists) is out of stock the first thing a customer sees is a message that the combo is our of stock… this has the effect of moving some customers away since they don’t really read the message fully.
What I want is to have a message separate from the combo state message that indicates if the products has ANY stock.
Is there a way to test for ANY stock on a product tracking stock with options???
if so how can I add a condition to my template that will display one message if there is and another if not???
