I cant find anything on this topic in the CS-Cart documentation.
Extract the files from ZIP archive, overwrite the addon to their particular files… Old trick but still success.
How do you install a new addon? Is that simply a matter of uploading files? Is there no templates or xml import function?
addons are not done through the admin interface. You upload the files for the addon (or merge them if you have previously made changes) via ftp to the relevant folders.
once you have done this you can go to admin>addons and loof for the name of the addon folders you uploaded and click install.

I see. So there are only file uploads, no automatic template edits like in vbulletin or IPB.
