How do I fix Shipping Rates and VAT perscentage

I would like to know weather I can change the shipping rates for a fixed rated. since all of my deliveries are in the city, also the VAT charges are fixed percentage and doesn’t change with the distance. How can I do this.

If your shipping rates are based on distance, you will first need to set up locations to approximate the distances using postal codes. Then you can set up diffrent manual shipping methods for each of the locations using these instructions:

VAT knows nothing about distance, it is simply applied to whatever shipping charge is used. If you set up your locations to approximate distances, the VAT will too.

Hi All



Thank you for your reply. In our country the VAT is applied to the total of the invoice. So I need to implement this to the cs-cart invoice. How do I do that?

I am not sure I understand your question.



If you are saying that VAT needs to be calculated on products and shipping just make sure all your products and shipping methods have the VAT tax checked.
