Hide Some Inventory Products?

Is there a way to

1) Hide some products when the Inventory reaches zero

2) Show some products (without add to cart button) when Inventory reaches zero

I am able to 1) or 2) by itself (by using the general Setting: Show out of Stock Products), but can't figure out how to do both at an individual selected product level. Meaning select what products are hidden and what products can still show with no inventory.

Any hints would be appreciated.

P.S. Not sure if this is a BUG, but I also noticed if you deselect Show out of Stock Products and the Inventory reaches zero, yes it is hiden from the Category page. But the indivdual product SEO page is still showing (if you know its URL). Meaning if google indexed the product page, someone can still find it. The cart is not preventing the product page from being generated :(

i do not know any easy way to do it.

As far as I know, this feature was made to skip 404 errors as they are not good for SEO

I added an action of "H" meaning hidden to the products out_of_stock_actions in the Backend. All is working fine in the Backend to set this new option. It is saved in the database.

How do I check this action to Hide the page from the frontend (the customer).
