Thanks,

The site looks great. I really like the colors you’ve chosen.

If you set up a links page we can exchange links

Looks good though I believe it to be a good idea to fill in the gaps near your main logo that states the toll free number

Oh and allow right-clicks. I know you may feel as if this is a security issue but it bugs more people that you may think that like to “right-click open in new tab” or else browse your site 3 pages at a time.

Other then that I like to colours as well. I especially like the ‘how to get there’ from the top of the page.

I agree, looks good but disabling right click does nothing to help against security these days.

All browsers give access to view source, google indexes your images on google image search, all it does is hinder people from using their browsers properly .

I should mention that the image that I posted came from the source in the first place (whoops) also if you look at the main page there seems to be an overlay over the image. this looks bit shabby but I’ve already said that

I think its where the image is meant to have a transparent background, which works ok up until the toll free part,

Your right it does look a little shabby, easily sorted out the image edittors transparancy settings.

Other than that, I like the colour scheme, suits the topic of the site, nice clear, bold product images

Oh 1 last thing I noticed…

The Contact Us is a direct mailto link, I personally think this is bad for three reasons…

  1. Webmail users such as hotmail etc will have a problem.
  2. Spam email harvesters will pick it up easily…
  3. People have to think of what they want to write & type more

Make a contacts page, it ensures you get the correct info from the customer rather than single one line emails such as :

“how many days does it take ?”

Instead you can prompt them for name, email address, phone numbers etc,

    Couldn’t have been better said.

Now to get the time to implement it lol

Hi Everyone… thanks for all the pointers! I have removed the “No Right Clicks” on the pages and fixed up the header image.

Concerning the “Contact Us”… I was originally using the form that comes with the software by default, but I was not receiving the emails. I checked everything and still wasn’t geting them (FYI… I get all other emails generated from the store). So to ensure I would get the emails, I went to the old “mailto” link.

Thanks again… Let me know of any other suggestions.

Eric

You might have your home links point to nashuanutrition.com and not High Protein Food | Nashua Nutrition

i was having problems too with not receiving emails on my graphic site. but it wasnt the software, it was how it was set up on my host

That looks better, image is crystal clear now !

So… concerning the “Contact Us” form… now you got me thinking. I forgot the webmail users would have a problem, that is a big concern for me.

Does anyone have an idea why I wouldn’t get the emails only from the Contact Us form that came with the software? I tried using the php mail function, smtp & sendmail. I also verified the email addresses are correct.

Thanks,

Eric

the contact us form that comes with the cart is fine, my audio site has no problems. but for some reason my graphic site is tempermental. but it was how it was set up on the server. also check how your emails are set up and the username on your server, make sure they are the same. on the cart the mail should be set to smtp server

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the info… well I started digging at the “Contact Us” page again… I didn’t realize that the form had its own mailto address which defaults to no-reply@cscart.com… as soon as I changed it to my email address it worked fine…

Live and learn…

Thanks again!

your welcome. we all go through it. there are so many ins and outs to this cart but it is totally awsome
