On step 2 of checkout, I have added 2 fields, ‘Delivery Date’ & ‘Delivery Time’ under the ‘Delivery Address’ section. I have changed the labels for ‘Delivery Address’ to ‘Billing Address’ & vice versa, as i always need to have the Delivery Date & Time fields showing.
My problem is that once a customer has placed an order, I need the Delivery date & Time fields cleared, so that when the person places another order, he/she is forced to enter a new date & time for that delivery. This would require that Step 2 is always showed fully when the user enters checkout and the Date & Time fields cleared.
Any help is much appreciated!!

I’ve thought one way around this is to clear the values of the date and time as soon as the ‘Place order’ button is pressed, hopefully forcing the customer to re-enter them on their next order.
Or making sure that each time they go to checkout Step 2 is automatically shown in Edit mode, and the values of the date & time are cleared.
