HELP! Database please

HAving followed Li Lees tips on speed I got my homepage loadtime down to 2 secs via GZIP, Smart Optimizer etc etc(thanks Li Lee). I Still seemed to be getting realy slow times though on sub cat page selection 6 sec+ and thought Id try the various posts info about setting the

// Set maximum memory limit

@ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘48M’);

So I tried to change it in config.local.php to 128.

As soon as I did this I get the error below and cant access anything. I changed the setting back but still the same.

I repaired the db in cpanel but still problem. CAn anyone help.

Thanks

John

Obviously, first clear your cache to see if it is messed up. You may also need to clear the smart optimizer cache, I don’t run SO yet so I’m not sure if this is ever an issue.

Then open your config.php file and make sure the following line is in it (around line 100):

define('TABLE_PREFIX', 'cscart_');

Hi Adodric,

Thanks for reply and you seem correct also, I searched again and found this post

In order to fix the upgrade issue please do the following:

  1. Open for editing the “config.local.php” file in the root directory of your CS-Cart installation.

  2. Find the following piece of code there:

    PHP Code:

    // Developer configuration file

    if (file_exists(DIR_ROOT . ‘/local_conf.php’)) {

    include(DIR_ROOT . ‘/local_conf.php’);

    }

  3. Add the following code below it:

    PHP Code:

    define(‘TABLE_PREFIX’, ‘cscart_’);

    define(‘DEFAULT_FILE_PERMISSIONS’, 0644);

    define(‘DEFAULT_DIR_PERMISSIONS’, 0755);

    so, that it reads:

    PHP Code:

    // Developer configuration file

    if (file_exists(DIR_ROOT . ‘/local_conf.php’)) {

    include(DIR_ROOT . ‘/local_conf.php’);

    }

    define(‘TABLE_PREFIX’, ‘cscart_’);

    define(‘DEFAULT_FILE_PERMISSIONS’, 0644);

    define(‘DEFAULT_DIR_PERMISSIONS’, 0755);

    Important note! If you manually did change the default database prefix “cscart_” to a different value then you must use it instead: substitute the “cscart_” text in the instructions above to your new prefix value.

    I added it and all is ok again.

    Thanks

    for reply
