I just purchased CS CART a few days ago, I’m not really experienced in web design, I have a little html and photoshop experience but that’s about it.
I’m in a bind(not financially thank goodness) more of a time bind. I have a 9 month old son. I’d love to sit and learn everything this month but between working and my son it’s too crazy. I can learn it but I’m sure it will take more time.
I’m looking for someone that has experience with CS-Cart to help me develop my site and maybe teach me a little about the process.
The bind I’m in is that I will be receiving a lot of my imports this month and I would like to have the site up and running.
I’m really looking for someone to hold my hand, help me customize my site and get it running. Pretty much after that I would like to be self sufficient with the web site.
if anyone is interested PM me, I’m reasonable and I don’t mind doing some work myself. This is more of a learning experience for me.

Welcome to CS-Cart. You made a wise decision.
To tell you the truth, it’s not that difficult to get the hang of. Yeah, we all had troubles in the beginning but between the support desk and all the info that is posted plus the people that help here in this forum, you shouldn’t really need any one person to “hold your hand”.
Anyway, have fun and ask away if it’s not already posted.

Your priority has GOT to be to get set up on your server with ALL the permissions set correctly.
You could virtually use the store as it is, apart from changing and cofiguring settings.
Once you have done that and got your SSL etc you can upload your stock info etc. Customize as you go so to speak. You could always Have a “test” site and do changes on that before chaning your live cart.
We have learnt a lot since joining this forum, and mostly everyone is there for you.
Best of look and don’t be afraid to ask, even if it is a really dim question (I ask loads of them) coz you will learn faster.

Everyone started at one time… Just ask when you have questions and sure you get answers or a foot in the right direction
