Has anyone had any luck with integrating a forum database? i.e. e-mail-user/pass? I am not a programmer by far but I would think we could run some sort of backend script to pass querries maybe?
We integrated Joomla with CS-Cart.
Basically we replaced all the profile features with joomla one, except for the cart. So now you can only register through Joomla (we had already 10.000 registered users) or during the checkout.
We also create a session check for the two.
If you login in Joomla you automatically login in CS-Cart (and vice-versa) and if you logout both sessions are killed.
