Haha, thanks.

Hallo to all…I think I know the answer but it’s getting late and I would appreciate your expertise on this issue. I have followed all the procedures to make the sitemap and this is what I got, which I think should be OK.

The problem is that I keep getting this error from Google and only this error.

Line:3

URL not allowed

This url is not allowed for a Sitemap at this location.

I am using http://www.e-garment/eshop/ as the site and I have submited

http://www.e-garment.gr/eshop/index.php?target=google_sitemap

Does it work ok and only line 3 is omitted…I can see iin Google webmaster tools that 22 urls are submited but I have this error. Will it affect the procedure?

I have also altered config.php

I would appreciate your expertise.

Regards

Ioannis Talianis

Hi,

I’m really hoping someone can help - I’ve recently purchased cs-cart and tried the google sitemap mod - however it’s coming back with

‘Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /htdocs/include/customer/google_sitemap.php on line 34’

and I really can’t figure out why.

I’ve checked every instruction several times and everything seems OK.

Any ideas?

Incidentally, line 34 reads:

foreach ($categories as $category) {

Thanks,

Rupert

Hi again,

well that’s strange - I ripped all the code out and then put everything back in again - and now it works!

Maybe it was a file permissions prob - guess I’ll never know now…

Thanks for a great mod btw.

It’s a gremlin… I get them every so often.

Anybody know some program, that can convert Google sitemap to RSS?

I’ve got a little (HUGE) problem…

http://freedomcreations.com.au/index.php?target=google_sitemap

freedomcreations.com.au/index.php?target=google_sitemap

Note : You will have to enter www.freedomcreations.com.au/index.html

I’ve currently got .htaccess forwarding for SEO reasons.

I’ve encountering these errors when attempting to access the google_sitemap I’ve since installed as per sculptingstudio’s instructions

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/knoxit/public_html/freedomcreations/targets/google_sitemap.php:1) in /home/knoxit/public_html/freedomcreations/include/customer/google_sitemap.php on line 19

I could remove the “header(“Content-Type: text/xml;charset=utf-8”);” at line 19 but that solves nothing more then making it worse.

I’ve checked google_sitemap within /targets/ which is what the error is referring to, on line 1 it’s just the php start header so I’ve nothing to work with.

System setup :

Apache\PHP version 4.4.4

Cs-Cart 1.3.4 Sp3

No mods despite what my signature say as this is a different (virgin) store.

I get this error:
Error

Unfortunately we cannot locate this page for you.
You can see it live:

http://www.mymindmakeover.com/store/index.php?target=google_sitemap

it redirects to:

403 Forbidden

:frowning:

Any ideas?

You haven’t modified the config.php file to include the ‘google_sitemap’ into your targets area. If this has been done correctly it will show a file available.

It’s also possible that it hasn’t been able to find the sitemaps under /admin/ or /customer/

Thanks a ton sculptingstudio, this worked great! I had a little hickup when I tried to create the PHP files in Dreamweaver instead of Notepad, go figure the notepad program worked better. Followed the exact directions and it worked like a charm! Thanks again.

I am having the same problem. I tried multiple things to fix it but no luck so far. The admin area was also getting header errors. Funny thing is that the sitemap was being generated after it went through the strand of header errors. May be someone else can figure this is out.

Use Notepad for everything mate,

I got lucky in that I saved myself the trouble from using dreamweaver like I had been the entire time. I’m using RapidPHP from blumentals and it’s a VERY good tool. Another thing to remove all spaces after ?> at the end of the php files. Good luck

I downloaded a free program called Gizmo Editor and tried creating the PHP files again. Low and behold the page is creating the sitemap with no problems or errors!

Thanks for all the help!

I get some mistakes from google … this should be the sitemap:

Hi,

I followed the steps exactly, got this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_SL in d:\InetPub\wwwroot\metatech.co.za\html\cart\include\customer\google_sitemap.php on line 22

Sitemap URL:

http://www.metatech.co.za/cart/index.php?target=google_sitemap

Any help would be appreciated.

Try coding EVERYTHING in notepad, most editors will add a few spaces where they don’t belong and so you recieve a few errors. I can’t guarantee that this is the case but I can’t seem to think of anything else.
You mean this one ? " ‘google_sitemap’ => $targets_dir.‘google_sitemap.php’, "
No that’s obviously working, might be related to the localization and google analytics integration if you have it enabled.

While loading the sitemap I see everything in English so try to view it with the english language (browser)

what about google ? it shows errors on my google webmaster admin ! so it likes google don`t like my sitemap at all … url not allowed site map can not be read and so on …
