Google Sitemap Addon not working - Parsing Error

I’m using version 2.1.1.

When I try to use the Google Sitemap Addon, I get the following error in Firefox:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
```
When I try it in IE, I get the following error message:
```php
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
I've searched the forums for this error and I've followed all of the suggestions that people said worked for them. Nothing has worked for me. I continue to get the same error messages. Here's what I've tried:

-Clearing cache (did this multiple times through the Cart and also by going into the files in the file manager and deleting them manually). So, yes, I've already tried this option - multiple ways and before and after trying the other suggestions that follow. Did I mention that I've already tried clearing my cache? ;)

-Tried deleting the product (product number 10 as indicated above). Didn't work. It still gives me the same error message. (I did try clearing my cache after doing this to.)

-Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Sitemap addon and clearing the cache before and after the install. Didn't work.

Anybody got any suggestions?

The data (data inside the tags) needs to be utf-8 encoded. I.e. the ampersand in your URL’s needs to be “&” (utf-8 encoded value)…

All XML data should be utf-8 encoded. So looks like a bug in the Sitemap addon… You should submit through Bug Tracker.

I’ve submitted it. Let’s hope it’s a simple fix.
