when I go to google merchant I am told to verify my site. Then I am told to replace the asynchronous snippet tracking code with a new one. When I view the source on the index page that exists it is not the same as the new one. When I ask the help desk how to change it I dont get any direction and they won’t do it for me. How can I get this done?

Are you using the Google Analytics addon?
If so, you will have to modify the code it uses to generate the snippet.

I am using the Google Analytics addon. And I know that I have to modify the code. I have asked the help desk how to do this and they tell me “maybe there will be a change in a new revision of the cart.” Well obviously I can’t wait for that. So I am trying to find out how I can do it myself.
Do you or anyone know what folder this goes in on the cart? I see the snippet when I view the source code when the home page is running.
You’ll probably find the code either in addons/google_analytics or in
skins/
You can do the search as well as anyone else.
