Google Base Requirement - "id [id] - An identifier of the item"

In older Google export option (previous version of cart) this ID was created on the fly but when we are trying to create Google Base export using Data Feed option (in 2.2.4 Professional version), there is no option to map any field for “id”. I am sure many of you folks have this working and would appreciate hint to which field should we map?

For the ID, you can just create a new field in the datafeed and set the ID as your product code. That is what I've done and it works great.

Thanks for the prompt help. Will give a try.

You should upgrade to 2.2.5



It seems like they had some fix with the upgrade. You can also uninstall and reinstall the add-on, somehow it worked for me and it refreshed the field list and I was able to take it from there.
