Google Base Image Export

I am just wondering if anyone has had trouble exporting images to Google Base since the introduction of 2.1 and 2.1.1, it is weird because some of the products are being exported fine with images howeve all the new products do not export with images attached. Is anyone else having this issue?



I searched on the forum and couldnt find anything so guessed it was just me :slight_smile:

No, it’s not just you. I can’t get any products to export to Google. I’m using 2.1.2 and no matter if I use export to server and then try a manual upload or if I try upload to ftp server I get the same results…0 of 209 items inserted. It has to do with the 0’s for the prices. Funny thing is, when I download the exported file from the server, I see all the $ values just fine. I’ve tried all the code fixes found on the forum, but no dice. Guess I’ll bug support.

Maybe it doesn’t like your style code… I’m on 2.1.2 and have no problems with images

Could be, I suppose. But I remember reading somewhere in this forum that when you use upload to ftp server, CsCart strips out all the html code to prepare it for google.

Looking through my googlebase file, CS-Cart has stripped out all of my HTML code… The most I would use is

,
, , etc… Perhaps CS-Cart isn’t looking to strip style code and font code.

After dealing with CsCart support, I finally realized that I was using the wrong feature to do the upload I was using Admin>DataFeeds when I was supposed to be using Admin>Export Date>Googlebase.

I’m using 2.1.3 and can’t get mine to upload and I’m using admin/export/googlebase. I also don’t have any image urls in the csv file.
