To be honest, I don't see the purpose of this addon. All modern browsers can store ones info and auto fill in forms. When I shop online, all I do is fill in my first name and Chrome fills in everything else.

Google Address Autocomplete for CS-Cart will speed up the checkout process by filling in the checkout address info automatically with the help of Google Places suggest API. This will save time for your customers and prevent typing errors.

An employee who is entering an order by phone will less likely make a mistake with this add-on in my opinion. Anytime you can prevent a shipping error it's a win win situation.

Yes and this addon will save a lot of time for customers when they enter address. There is no need to select Country from a very long list, fill in City, State and Zipcode manually because the addon will fill them automatically.

I am receiving the following error after activating the addon with a valid API key from google.

You can try the following steps:

  • Go to API Manager
  • Click on Overview
  • Search for Google Maps JavaScript API(Under Google Maps APIs). Click on that
  • You will find Enable button there. Click to enable API.

In case anyone else can't get it working, this was my problem.

It seems the profile fields User-defined CSS-class are missing after store import. You can go to admin Profile fields and insert billing-country for Billing Country, billing-state for Billing State/province, billing-zip-code for Billing Zip/postal code, shipping-country for Shipping Country, shipping-state for Shipping State/province and shipping-zip-code for Shipping Zip/postal code.

Having incorrect setup for profiles was causing issues for me too.. I would suggest just to save profiles settings part from fresh install same version db and import in to your current store, that is what I did. Manually added fields act little different in admin order details page..

Yes and I think CS-Cart should fix this problem for Store import addon.
